Service transformation in primary and community-based care – Summary of June 2025 roundtable event
Access to GP practices is one of the issues older people raise most frequently with the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales.
Since the publication of her Access to GP Practices Report, the Commissioner has held a series of roundtable events that bring together health bodies and other key organisations to examine the ways in which the report’s recommendations are being taken forward.
The most recent of these events took place in June and provided opportunities to not only look at the progress being delivered, but to also consider emerging issues and the action needed to address these.
This report provides a summary of key discussion points and actions agreed during the wide-ranging and informative session.
