Older people are often under-represented in many data sources, which causes difficulties when trying to identify the issues and barriers that may prevent us from living and ageing well.
That’s why the Commissioner has created this helpful resource that brings together key statistics, evidence and research to provide an overview of people’s experiences of growing older in Wales.
This information will enable policy- and decision-makers to better understand the challenges older people may be facing, and the action and policies needed to ensure that Wales leads the way in empowering older people, tackling inequality and enabling everyone to live and age well.
